MATHISTON, Miss. — The central Mississippi community is mourning the loss of Andy Martin, a longtime broadcaster and former Boswell Media employee, who was killed Monday night in a tragic single-vehicle accident on the Natchez Trace Parkway near the Mathiston exit.

Rangers with the Natchez Trace Parkway reported that Martin’s car veered off the roadway and struck a tree in the median. Despite the swift arrival of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A Familiar Voice Across Central Mississippi
A native of Leake County, Martin was widely recognized for his decades-long career in radio. Years ago, he served as the morning show host and news director for Breezy 103, now known as Breezy 101.
