The Portrush community is in mourning following the sudden and tragic passing of Mr. Jamie Mitchell on November 8, 2025, as the result of an accident. Jamie, of 625 Glenmanus Park, was deeply cherished by his family and friends and is remembered as a devoted son, brother, father, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

He was the dearly loved son of Josie and Raymond, a loving brother to Sharlene, Gareth, Shannon-Lee, and Finley, and the dearest father of Jay. Jamie was also a much-loved nephew, cousin, and uncle, whose kindness and laughter will be profoundly missed by his entire family circle.

A service to honor Jamie’s life will be held at his home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. The family has requested family flowers only, with donations in lieu, if desired, to Aware NI, c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine.

Jamie’s sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his caring nature, his love for family, and the positive spirit he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love of those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
