Fort Wayne Family Mourns the Death of Sydney Griffith in Car Accident


FORT WAYNE, IN — The Griffith family’s world was shattered Friday morning when their daughter, Sydney Griffith, tragically lost her life in a car accident. At just 22 years old, Sydney’s life was cut far too short, leaving a community in mourning.
Known for her vibrant spirit and deep faith, Sydney brought joy to everyone who knew her. Her family described her as someone who “lived big” and cherished by all who crossed her path. Though her time was brief, the impact she made on her family and friends will not be forgotten.
Sydney was a devoted believer, having accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and her family finds comfort in their faith, trusting she is now safe and happy in His care.
A visitation for Sydney Griffith will be held Wednesday, October 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Chapel, 2505 W Hamilton Rd S, Fort Wayne. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Thursday, October 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Union 12, 7563 Lincoln Way Rd, Columbia City. Family and friends are invited to attend and share stories of Sydney’s life.
