BRANSON, MO — It is with deep sadness that the State Fair Community College (SFCC) community shares the passing of Dylan Davis, 19, of Branson, who died on Sunday, October 19.
Dylan was a dedicated student and a valued member of the SFCC community, known for his creativity, kind spirit, and enthusiasm for campus life. He particularly enjoyed his art classes and could often be found participating in student activities, connecting with classmates and contributing to the vibrant campus atmosphere.
Friends and faculty remember Dylan for his bright personality, gentle nature, and the joy he brought to those around him. “Dylan had a quiet spark — a creative soul who made everyone feel welcome,” one instructor shared. “He will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.”
A memorial service honoring Dylan’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, October 25, at the Branson United Methodist Church, followed by a brief graveside service at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.
The college has made counseling and emotional support available for students, faculty, and staff through SFCC Counseling Services and the college’s clinical counseling partnership with Central Methodist University.
As the SFCC community grieves this tremendous loss, heartfelt condolences are extended to Dylan’s family, friends, and loved ones. His creativity, kindness, and presence on campus will be remembered with warmth and gratitude.
