GRAY, TN — The Gray community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Chandler Masters, 23, who passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Chandler was employed as a Diesel Technician with Power Equipment Co. in Kingsport, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and cheerful personality. Friends and coworkers remember him as someone who could brighten any day with his trademark grin and infectious energy.
A true outdoorsman, Chandler found joy in life’s simple adventures — playing sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time behind the wheel of loud, lifted trucks with too many lights or anything that went fast. His love for the outdoors and mechanical passion perfectly reflected his spirited, fun-loving nature.
Those who knew Chandler describe him as genuine, kind-hearted, and always willing to lend a hand. His smile melted hearts and his presence could light up a room. Whether with family, friends, or his close-knit circle from work, Chandler was the kind of person who made life a little brighter just by being there.
Though his life was far too short, Chandler left behind lasting memories and an impact that will never fade. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Funeral arrangements and memorial details will be announced by the family in the coming days.
As the Gray community mourns this profound loss, they remember Chandler for his laughter, loyalty, and the way he lived life — full throttle, with joy and heart.
