Community Mourns the Passing of Former Pinkerton School Resource Officer Brian Landry


DERRY, N.H. — The Derry community is mourning the loss of Officer Brian Landry, a dedicated member of the Derry Police Department and former school resource officer at both West Running Brook Middle School and Pinkerton Academy.
Officer Landry was remembered by students, faculty, and community members as a compassionate and fair officer who deeply cared about the well-being and success of every student he met. Known for his approachable demeanor and steadfast commitment to justice, he left a lasting impact on countless young lives.
“He cared about the students and wanted to see them be the best version of themselves,” one former student shared. “He treated everyone with respect and fairness while still upholding the values of justice and integrity that define a true officer.”
In addition to his duties in law enforcement, Officer Landry was actively involved in school events and community activities. His presence at student gatherings and his willingness to lend a hand made him a beloved figure among both staff and students.
