Nashville Community Grieves the Tragic Loss of 17-Year-Old Ja’Quan Nolan


Nashville, TN — It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Ja’Quan Nolan, age 17, who was fatally shot outside the Forest Park Apartments in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday night, October 18, 2025.
According to Metro Nashville Police, officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the apartment complex parking area. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to a nearby hospital, Ja’Quan was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward. No suspects have been publicly identified as of Sunday morning.
