SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A wave of grief and disbelief has swept through the Del Paso Heights community following the tragic death of a beloved member known locally as “Lil Rod” RaRa, who was shot and killed late Friday night in Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded just after midnight to reports of gunfire in the 7700 block of 51st Avenue, in the Elder Creek neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
