ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI — Heartbreak and sorrow ripple through St. Louis County this week as friends, family, and community members mourn the tragic loss of Greg “Laflare”, who was fatally struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday, October 12, 2025.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers from the North County Precinct responded to a call around 1:31 a.m. reporting a motor vehicle crash in the 11900 block of Lusher Road, near Victorian Village Drive. When first responders arrived, they found an adult male — later identified as Greg — who had been hit by a vehicle.
Emergency medical personnel rushed Greg to a nearby hospital, but despite their tireless efforts, he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
Initial reports suggest that Greg was in the roadway when he was struck. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is fully cooperating with investigators. Detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
