Chicago, IL – The Loyola University Chicago community is reeling after the tragic death of 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman, who was fatally shot early Thursday morning near the lakefront in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
According to Chicago police, Sheridan was walking with a group of friends on Pratt Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. when a man approached and opened fire. She was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the suspect was wearing a face covering and fled the area.
