Albuquerque Mourns the Loss of Tyler Jiron Following Tragic Shooting

ROSEBURG, Ore. — A somber end to a community-wide effort was confirmed Thursday after Douglas County Search and Rescue located the body of Lori Sharman during a follow-up search. The discovery was made on December 4, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m., bringing a heartbreaking close to the search that had drawn volunteers and concern from across the region.

Deputies responded to the scene and confirmed Sharman’s death before notifying her next of kin. The Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, though officials say there are no signs of foul play at this time.
