A local family is facing an unthinkable tragedy after a devastating car accident left Cade Richards and his girlfriend, Bree Vincent, hospitalized — and claimed the life of their unborn baby boy, Crue.
According to relatives, the couple suffered severe injuries in the crash and remain in recovery, both physically and emotionally. Loved ones say the impact of the accident has been life-changing, leaving the entire family shaken and heartbroken.
Bree was pregnant at the time, and despite medical efforts, baby Crue tragically did not survive. Family members describe the loss as “unimaginable,” saying they are grieving a future that was stolen far too soon.
“This has shattered us,” a relative shared. “We are trying to hold each other together while mourning the beautiful little boy we never had the chance to meet.”
As Cade and Bree focus on healing, their family has launched a fundraiser to help ease the mounting financial burdens — including funeral costs for baby Crue, significant medical bills, and the many unexpected expenses that accompany such a devastating event.
They are asking the community for support in any form: donations, prayers, or simply acts of kindness that help them feel less alone as they navigate this painful journey.
“Anything helps, and every prayer is deeply appreciated,” the family said. “Thank you for standing with us during the hardest moment of our lives.”
The family hopes that by sharing their story, they can lift some of the overwhelming stress from Cade and Bree and honor the memory of baby Crue, whose presence, though brief, is forever etched in their hearts.
