SLIDELL, LA — The Slidell community is reeling after the heartbreaking loss of a 5-year-old child, who was fatally struck by a vehicle in the driveway of their home Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025.
According to the Slidell Police Department, officers were called to the 300 block of Spartan Loop shortly after 7:00 a.m. regarding the tragic incident. Preliminary investigations indicate that the child was preparing to leave for school when they were struck by a family member’s SUV as it was leaving the driveway.
