Reekie, remembered for his calm presence in net and unwavering commitment to his teammates, was an integral part of the 2006–07 Silvertips, a season that remains one of the most memorable in franchise history. That year, Everett captured the Scotty Munro Trophy as the WHL’s regular-season champions.
