MORGAN COUNTY, IN — A sudden and heartbreaking accident took the life of Cheyenne Sears, an Indiana mother who had just welcomed twins on Monday. The 27-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a deer on State Road 67 near Paragon late last night.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the deer was initially hit by a northbound driver before being thrown into the southbound lanes, where it collided with the vehicle carrying Sears. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but tragically, Cheyenne did not survive.
Family and friends describe Cheyenne as a warm, dedicated caregiver who had a profound impact on the lives of residents at The Springs of Mooresville, where she served as Assistant Director of Health Services.
