St. Joseph County Mourns the Tragic Loss of 21-Year-Old Kayden Gruver


ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — A wave of grief has swept through St. Joseph County following the tragic death of 21-year-old Kayden Gruver, who was killed early Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, in a devastating hit-and-run accident near the intersection of US-12 and Burr Oak Road.
According to local authorities, emergency responders were called to the scene in the early morning hours, where they discovered that Kayden had been struck by a vehicle that fled without stopping. Despite immediate medical efforts, Kayden succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a family and community shattered by the senseless loss.
