Remembering Natalya Chytry: A Bright Light Gone Too Soon

CHICAGO, Ill. — It is difficult to find words to bid farewell to someone who brought so much light and love into the lives of others. This week, family and friends are mourning the loss of Natalya Chytry, a beloved daughter, friend, and cherished member of her community whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.
Those who knew Natalya describe her as radiant — a source of laughter, compassion, and strength. Her presence uplifted others, and her genuine care left a lasting impact on countless hearts.
An intimate service celebrating Natalya’s life will be held Tuesday, October 21, at 10:30 a.m. CST at St. Joseph the Betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church, where close family and friends will gather to honor her memory.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed via the church’s Facebook page, allowing all who loved her to take part in saying goodbye.
“Rest peacefully, my dear friend,” said one mourner. “You will forever be in our hearts.”
Natalya’s spirit of kindness and joy will continue to live on in those she touched — a beautiful reminder that love never truly fades. 🕊️
