According to the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office, a distressing 911 call came in just after 12:17 p.m. from Jamie Adkins herself, reporting that she had shot her husband. When officers entered the residence, they discovered the tragic scene—John Adkins deceased from gunshot wounds, and Jamie Adkins suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
