Springdale, Ark. — A tragic accident has claimed the life of James Price, a 69-year-old resident of Springdale, following a devastating motorcycle crash on Interstate 49 over the weekend.
According to a fatal crash report released by the Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred around 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2025, near mile marker 70 in Washington County. Authorities say Price was traveling southbound on I-49 when his motorcycle left the roadway and crashed. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash, though no other vehicles were reported to be involved. Weather and road conditions at the time were described as clear and dry.
