HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — The Hanover community is grieving the devastating loss of 31-year-old Megan Michelle Fisher of King William, who tragically lost her life in a head-on collision on Verdon Road early Tuesday morning, October 7, 2025.
According to the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 7:38 a.m. in the 14800 block of Verdon Road. Preliminary reports indicate that Megan was driving a 2025 Subaru westbound when her vehicle crossed the double solid line and collided head-on with an eastbound Toyota Tundra. Despite the swift arrival of first responders, Megan was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two juvenile passengers in her vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as was the driver of the Toyota Tundra. While their recovery brings some solace, the community remains heartbroken by Megan’s sudden and tragic passing.
