MELVILLE, N.Y. — The Saint Anthony’s High School community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Haley Singh, a beloved member of the Class of 2008, whose passing has left a deep void in the hearts of classmates, teachers, and friends alike.
Haley’s journey was tragically cut short while she was still in her sophomore year, yet her impact continues to resonate years later. She was remembered not only for her intelligence and curiosity but also for her warmth, compassion, and radiant spirit that uplifted everyone around her.
At Saint Anthony’s, Haley was more than a student—she was a source of light and kindness. Her infectious smile, willingness to help others, and genuine care for those in need made her an unforgettable presence in the Friar Family. Teachers recall her dedication to learning and her eagerness to contribute, while classmates remember her laughter echoing through the hallways and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.
“Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sophomore Haley Singh,” read a message shared by Saint Anthony’s High School. “Today we mourn as a school community and remember the lasting impact Haley will have on her classmates, her teachers, and the entire Friar Family. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.”
Though her life was far too brief, Haley’s legacy continues to inspire. She reminded everyone around her of the importance of kindness, empathy, and living each day with purpose. Her spirit remains woven into the fabric of Saint Anthony’s—living on in the friendships she formed, the lessons she taught through example, and the love she shared so freely.
Rest in peace, Haley Singh.
Gone too soon, but never forgotten—the Friar Family will carry your memory in their hearts forever.
