Waterford Mourns the Passing of Beloved Local Resident Ann Kelly

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville community is grieving the sudden loss of Mr. Larry Lee Leslie, who passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, at the age of 64.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and humor touched countless lives. Those who knew him remember not only his generosity but also his ability to bring light into every room he entered.

A man of service and dedication, Larry spent eight years in the U.S. Army before continuing his commitment to others as a Sheriff Deputy with Madison County for a decade. His years of service reflected his strength, character, and steadfast devotion to protecting his community.

Due to health issues, Larry retired from law enforcement, but his legacy of service and his impact on those around him continued long after. His passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he so faithfully served.

In this time of grief, a fundraiser has been organized to assist with burial expenses, and the family deeply appreciates the support and prayers being offered during this difficult period.
