AUSTIN, Texas — With heavy hearts, family, friends, and the Austin community are mourning the loss of Amanda Gwynn Waltrip, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at just 32 years old.
Amanda was known for her warm heart, vibrant presence, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her passing leaves behind a profound void for her loved ones, who remember her as a source of love, laughter, and light.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee; her parents, John and Sherry Waltrip; and her siblings, Jessica, Heather, Andrew, and Matthew. Each remembers her not only as a beloved family member but as someone whose kindness and energy uplifted everyone she encountered.
A celebration of life will be held on October 25, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and reflect on the remarkable impact Amanda had in her too-short but meaningful life.
Amanda’s memory will live on through the love she shared and the connections she built. Though gone too soon, she will never be forgotten.
